S Disney princeznami sme vyrastali už od detstva a ešte aj dnes si obľúbené rozprávky bez problémov pozrieme. Keď sa nad tým tak zamyslíš, je pravda, že všetky princezné boli vždy chudé a nádherné, preto sa mnohé mladé dievčatá túžili na ne podobať.

Ak mali nejaké kilá navyše, často prepadali depresiám a bojovali s nízkym sebavedomím. S týmto sa teraz rozhodli bojovať plus-size influencerky, ktoré vytvorili projekt #PlusSizePrincessProject, v rámci ktorého sa 21 mladých dievčat prezlieklo do kostýmov disneyovských princezien a svoje fotky zdieľali na Instagrame.

Niektoré z nich dokonca mali problém nájsť kostým v ich veľkosti, preto si ho museli vyrobiť samy. Myslia si, že väčšie telá nemajú dostatok priestoru na prezentáciu v médiách a taktiež sú toho názoru, že ak by ako malé dievčatá videli v televízii plus-size princezné, nemali by taký problém so svojím nízkym sebavedomím. Myslíš, že by to pomohlo?

💕 INTRODUCING: The #PlusSizePrincessProject 💕 Some friends and I got together to make 👏🏻 some 👏🏻 noise!! We take up more space than most yet our larger bodies are clearly lacking representation in media. If only I had this group of ladies to look to when growing up. It would have done wonders with my self esteem. So here’s our response this Halloween: 21 influencers dressing up in our own style as beloved female Disney characters. ✨DIY PLUS SIZE #DISNEY PRINCESS COSTUME✨ This Esmeralda costume cost about $25 for me to #diy ! I had the sandals, skirt, and top already so the accents with the help of a little crafting, came together so well! My tambourine is made out of foam and the purple overlay is just 2 yards of draped purple fabric! I’ve partnered with some other amazing plus size gals to recreate these #disneyprincesses so swipe over and check them out! I wish I had a Disney Princess that looked like me growing up, and now I’m glad that there are for little girls of all shapes, sizes, and skin tones!
