When travelling the amount of luggage is often an issue and we always get asked which camera, which lens or which tripod is the best for travelling. In most cases we think a smartphone with a great camera is the best pick since it’s just the best combination of picture quality, size and weight. The last couple of weeks we were able to especially test the camera features of the new HUAWEI P40 Pro+. With up to 50MP, lenses as wide as 18mm to 240mm zoom and apertures as low as f/1.8 is gives you the freedom while travelling by combining all features of a heavy camera with several lenses. We especially love the HUAWEI AI Golden Snap features whose Best Moment function detects and recognizes posture and expression features. It then takes a 4K moving picture and the Gallery Edit feature recommends 1-3 pictures of the best moving moment. Ideal to always get a great shot! With another function (AI Remove Passersby) you are able to remove the passersby by combining several frames into one. For us Positano is one of those places you only understand when you see it from the sea… it’s only then that you realize how beautiful & unique this place is ✨! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To be honest when we arrived in Positano it was super hot, we were pretty stressed by the whole parking situation and then we went down to the famous beach and sure it looked nice but we still didn’t feel the vibe somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However the moment we got on this beautiful boat from @bluestarpositano and turned around to see this mesmerizing Positano panorama we instantly understood what makes this place so special 😍🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So going on a little sunset cruise 🌅🛥 is probably THE best thing we could have done on day 1 for a great first impression but also to get an overview of the Amalfi Coast 😉👌🏼

We all have our peculiarities – good & bad – habits that can drive others crazy 🤪and sometimes you are just in a bad mood or almost unbearable… but as well as the things that make us lovable and funny this is part of every single one of us, it’s what makes us the people we are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's impossible to like everything about another person 😅🤷🏻‍♀️ all the time, it’s just not possible… perfect only exists in fairy tales 🧚🏼. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So what matters is to find someone who you are willing to love 💕, live with and work with anyways… despite those incredibly annoying habits both of you have. Let someone love you just the way you are – as flawed as you might be, as unattractive as you sometimes feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And let us tell you something – YOU are perfect just the way you are 🥰!

Is traveling possible again? Is it safe? Is it necessary? And most of all what’s the best way to spend your holiday 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These are all questions we asked ourselves and probably a lot of you do too so when we started to plan our trip around Tirol now that borders in Europe are open again, our first pre Corona trip so to speak, going by camper was the best solution for us 🚐💨. You are free to go wherever you want, can convenient put all your belongings inside and still keeping distance is no problem at all 😉👌🏼 especially loved how comfortable our big luxurious @fernwehcamper made this trip! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #visittirol #lovetirol

FREEDOM 🕊 – such a powerful word but what does it really mean!? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Of course it means to be able to do, say, think whatever you want, it is the power to determine your actions without any constraints and most of all not to be confined. These are fundamental rights to which we are all entitled ☝🏼, but when we think of freedom we still think of so much more – we think of the wind in our hair 💨, the smell of flower meadows, a fresh sea breeze 🌊, the sound of waves, the view from the top of a mountain 🏔 , infinite vastness, of always being able to decide where we want to be, what matters to us, how we want to live our lives and with whom we want to spend it 🥰. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ However freedom to us is also something greater than just the right to act as we choose, freedom is a state of mind – it’s being yourself without trying to please anyone, it’s the courage to do what you love, freedom is what you get when you stop caring about what others think, it’s the ability to commit yourself to fulfill your dreams and the growth of your freedom is the ultimate measure for your success in life 💪🏼! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What does freedom mean to you 😉🕊?

Everything in Tulum is a little extra ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You sit on swings and in hanging chairs instead of normal ones 😍, they put chandeliers in trees and candles all around instead of just using normal light which creates a magical atmosphere, every restaurant/hotel/café here is incredibly beautiful with unique architecture and the prettiest interiors 🤩, the shops you find here have some of the coolest & most extravagant things we’ve ever seen, the beach with it’s beautiful white sand & blue water is extraordinarily beautiful, exploring the cenotes and other places all around Tulum is a lot of fun and it was extra great to explore together with friends – also how cool that we finally know (at least a bit) how to dance salsa 💃🏻🕺🏼👏🏼! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But as much as we liked all of that we must say Tulum is a bit too extra for us – it’s a little too extra expensive, many hotels/Cafés/restaurants especially in the IG street think they’re super special and people should be thankful to be there (at least our impression 🤷🏻‍♀️), everything is extra far so you’ll easily bike 🚲 30-40km a day if you stay in the village… so we must say that we’re not sad at all to be back home very soon 🥰🏡!

When talking about relationships people often tend to say that you should be reasonable, look for a reliable partner, stability and companionship, someone who’s always there for you ☝🏼 and to forget about sparkle, excitement, spontaneity and adventure 🙅🏻‍♀️! . Totally agree that all the above is a great and necessary base for a long lasting relationship, BUT how could one sit next to someone at the dinner table every day for the rest of their lifes talking about nothing but how their day was?! . For us a relationship is not complete without that extra sparkle ✨✨✨ – excitement when you see each other, teasing & sarcasm, a lot of humor & making fun of each other and thirst for adventure as well as unsaid communication. . We though it was about time to introduce ourselves again as there are so many new faces here 😉✌🏼! . We’re Jo and Vivi (Vi) from Germany 🇩🇪. About 2 years ago we decided that we rather want to see the world together then spending the rest of our lives in our office jobs. So we dared to take the first step into a new life of adventures and happiness, quit our jobs, our apartment in Frankfurt where we lived together for 2,5 years, all unnecessary contracts. We sold everything we knew we’d never need again and put the rest of our stuff – you have noooo idea how relieving it was to get rid of all these things 😍👏🏼 – in boxes and into our parents’ basement. . 3rd of January 2018 we took a one way ticket to Sri Lanka and started our 9 month trip through Southeast Asia. We started this account as we wanted to share our experiences, beautiful moments and adventures from around the world. Back then we had little idea so many of you guys would be so interested in what we do and it slowly became like sharing our favourite memories with a growing number of friends from around the world 🥰! . Often people think we’re living the dream… being at cool places, enjoying breathtaking views and relaxing at the beach all day. But to be honest that’s maybe what makes up 10% of the time. . Traveling and creating content full time means stressful days of transportation, carrying your stuff from one place to the other, sometimes staying at the most crappy accommodation because there’s simply nothing affordable and getting up at 3-4am to go to some cool places for a sunrise shoot (also planned for tonight 😉) can be quite demanding. Also we feel a constant pressure to take THE shot, to deliver something and if there is a picture that doesn’t get as much love as you were hoping for it can also be a little frustrating. BUT we also do get the chance to travel to some of the most beautiful places on earth, surreal landscapes, pristine beaches and fresh coconuts waiting for us and all of that together with our favourite person. So yes we are living the dream 😉 just wanted to show you that other 90%. . You usually only see the pictures at the end of the whole process and hopefully you like them as much as we do, but what you don’t see is that there’s a lot of time and effort involved until you get to that post.
