Never tomu, pretože v reálnom svete nie je nikto dokonalý. Všetky ženy majú strie, väčšie brucho keď si sadnú, majú chĺpky, ktoré im zarastajú a taktiež nie sú vždy dokonale upravené. Ak stále neveríš, pozri si fotky z tohto profilu, snáď ti otvoria oči.

Relaxed vs Flexed / or Cowgirl, your kitchen doesn’t have to be a battle ground. Growing up, I only saw photos like the one on the right: squeezed, toned, with muscles popping. I figured to look like that, I needed to diet. I started with Slim Fast. Then South Beach. I dabbled in Atkins and bought pills that made fat slide through my body. I cut out bananas because they had too much sugar. Eventually, I cut out food altogether. But it never got me where I wanted to be. Now, years of healing later, I’ve learned some stuff. Like, hey, the gal in the picture? Odds are, she doesn’t always look like that either. She probably has bloaty days. Or just understands great lighting. Or knows her angles. And even if she DOES walk around 24/7 with abs popping and muscles glistening? Well that’s great. That’s fine. IF that’s what HEALTH looks and feels like to her. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s what HEALTH looks and feels like for everyone. For me, health looks like this: A body that sometimes bloats (we’re exploring this, by the way) and sometimes flexes, but that I’m proud of in all its shapes. A soul in balance. And a kitchen that’s just another fabulous cat-dominated room in my house, Not a space of struggle and shame. Today, tap into what HEALTH is for YOU. Find what makes you feel good inside and out. Focus on fueling yourself — not just your body, but your mind and soul. And you remember that your journey? Your complex, multilayered life? It’s more than a single social media snap could ever show. So don’t compare. You got this. x #selflove #selfacceptance #bodyconfidence #bodyacceptance

Cowgirl, WEAR those shorts even if your knees are knobby. Wear that BIKINI even if your bumbum has cellulite. And rock those quirky lil hairstyles even if you’re over 20. Forget the ‘rules’. It’s YOU do YOU. NOT you do them. Growing up, I always tried to play by the rules: Wear this, not that. Get rid of that cellulite. Hide those stretchmarks. Eat this. Don’t ever eat that. I never thought to question where those rules came from. Or who the ‘they’ was that seemed to be making all the decisions. Now in my 30s, things have changed. I’m leaning more into the woman I WANT to be, And not the person others tell me to become. I’ve realized that ultimately, ‘they’ will never be fully satisfied. But that I can be. And that when I’m my most authentic self, it’s easier to love all the parts of me. Even the vulnerable and wiggly and jiggly bits. Today, I just wanted to remind you: This life we have here? It’s not a rehearsal. It’s the real deal, the main act. And it’s far, far too short to waste being a watered down version of ourselves. Or shrinking all that we are to meet the standards of some ever-changing rules. So get out there. Get out there in whatever way feels right to you. Let yourself show up. Let yourself be seen. You’re worth it. And we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. You got this. x

BLOATING 🎈Do you squeeze in your tummy ALL THE TIME? I realized this month that I do it CONSTANTLY. I’m always trying to hide my bloat. That’s why I’m on this gut healing journey. I want to UNDERSTAND and FIX whatever’s going on, not just squeeze away the symptoms. Because while SOME BLOATING is normal, when it’s excessive or PAINFUL, it’s not. Honestly I’m not sure if DAIRY is the problem (like this sort of silly picture suggests). Or if it’s gluten. Or too much bacteria. Or not enough. And it seems like there are a thousand and one different solutions. But I’m learning. This week I got my SIBO and GUT HEALTH tests back. The results shocked me. I’ll talk about them, but not yet — I want to meet with the doctor first to understand the implications and next steps. For now, I’d be just happy to hear your stories below. It’s nice to know I’m not alone on this journey. And that we’re in this together. On social media, we tend to only see ‘GOOD’ angles. And, hey, only really show them too. It’s human, because we want to look FIERCE and feel FIREY and have all those great HAPPY FEELINGS. All that’s ok. That’s perfectly ok. But today I just wanted to remind you: What you see posted on here? What you see filling your feed right now? All those workouts and those incredible recipes and those people doing amazing things with their amazing partners in their amazing quarantined homes? It’s filtered. It’s a whole lot of ‘good angles’ and curated pinpoints of perfection. So remember that as you scroll — especially if you start to slide into that dangerous game of comparison. Tell yourself as you go along: Social media is a HIGHLIGHT REEL more than it is REAL. And you’re doing just fine. Really. Really. x #instagramvsreality #socialmediavsreality #womenirl #meufparis #iweigh #whstrong #normalizenormalbodies #talkingoutloud #bossbabes #selflovesquad #bopo #feminist

Posed vs Relaxed / or it’s ok if you’re not ready yet to CELEBRATE your CELLULITE. It’s ok if you don’t feel the urge to strip down and WIGGLE all your JIGGLES on social media. It’s ok if you’re still finding your own path to LOVING YOUR BODY. Girl, some days I’m right there with you. Self love, self acceptance, that stuff is hard. And it’s a journey. One that has taken me over 33 years. Sometimes I feel strong and sassy and ready to take on the world. Other times I’m a bundle of fragile nerves and fears. All these things are ok. Because self love isn’t about waking up every morning feeling like a 10, Or dancing on the beach with your bits doing their thing. It’s about knowing no matter WHAT happens with your BODY or your CAREER or your RELATIONSHIPS, No matter WHAT, You are still WORTHY. You are still IMPORTANT. And you are still so very, very deserving of love. So today, I just want to remind you As woman to woman Friend to friend: Where you ARE on this JOURNEY, Whatever TODAY looks like FOR YOU, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m so glad we’re in this together. I mean, it’s not such an awful request, right? 😂❤️😂 BUT jokes aside – don’t let a bloaty belly get you down. I know how these things can worm and weave their way into our mind, and make us question our meals and our goals and sometimes, in our more fragile moments, our worth. Know your tummy has nothing to do with how incredible you are as a person. How powerful. Wonderful. Strong. Same goes for the size of your bumbum. Your body is part of you, absolutely. It’s a house or a temple or some fantastic wrapping paper. But what makes you YOU, what makes you so gosh darn AMAZING? That sits on the inside. And that’s an incredible thing indeed. So get out there and rock your bloaty belly or soft squishes or toned bits and all. You got this girl. Glad you’re here. x Outfit @womensbest.me @womensbestwear and quote inspired by my lovely friend @myprdiaries

BLOATING – Hands up if you can relate! 😂 If you follow me on YouTube (link in bio), you’ll know that my gut and me, we’re on a journey. Because bloating CAN BE normal – but when it’s disrupting your life and causing you pain, odds are your body is saying something’s off. So I’m getting tested. I’ve now done a breath test (took three hours, involved lots of tubes and a weird orange liquid), a poo test (… we’re not gonna go there 💩💩) and a hormone test. Everything is now with a lab. I’ve also been CAPTURING YOUR TIPS and YOUR ADVICE – but my GOSH is it ever varied! 😱🥰 From drinking apple cider vinegar to cutting out gluten to skipping dairy to following certain gut health doctors, it seems everyone and their mom has a different thing that worked for them. All I know right now is I’m LEARNING and EXPLORING. I’m a professional journalist, so I feel ready to tackle ALL this INFO. Figure out my tummy. Solve a few gut health mysteries. And hopefully, somewhere along the way, I can share something that might just help you too. 🥰❤️ If you’ve read this far and you’re ok BEING SHARED, go ahead and tell me your GUT / BLOATING story BELOW. Add SHARE so I know it’s ok, since I’ll be screenshotting some for YouTube. Here we go gals. We’re in this together.
